Mercy Nzisa Musyimi

Development Officer

Mercy NZisa  Musyimi is a young vibrant woman born and raised in Kenya. She is passionate about everything related to gender and believes buying a drink for a guy is the best thing a woman can do. She holds a diploma in Law and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Nairobi. She has been a board member of her YWCA from the branch level to the national level, but she never forgot the young women around her—mentoring them and being their big sister is always in her mind. Reproductive health and rights and leadership have been close to her heart and she is always ready to give you an ear to listen and advice where she can. She has represented her organisation both locally and internationally and carries the message of the grassroot women .  She is excited to be part of the She Speaks Blog to share stories of young women who have risen from nothing to something.
